📋 Description

• Architect scalable solutions for the claims engine • Contribute to the evolution of Snapsheet’s industry-leading claims engine • Collaborate across departments to solve complex problems for global partners • Mentor emerging talent • Design and build APIs • Design schemas and performant queries for relational databases • Build communications and document capabilities within the claims-management ecosystem • Contribute to multiple initiatives during a sprint

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field • 5+ years of full-stack web development experience • Experience designing and building APIs • Experience designing schemas and performant queries for relational databases • Understanding of scalability challenges and server-side code performance • Prior professional experience using React • Prior experience using Ruby on Rails is a plus • Eagerness to learn from and work with a collaborative team • Commitment to quality and passion for technology and creating cutting-edge solutions • Ability to manage tasks and contribute toward multiple initiatives during a sprint • Experience or familiarity with Ruby on Rails, React, MySQL, S3, Redis, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Lambda, Docker, and CloudFront • Must reside outside Alaska, California, Montana, North Dakota, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Wyoming • Must not require work-visa sponsorship
