📋 Description

• Build the core platform from scratch in a greenfield development environment • Develop mobile-first interfaces for technicians working in busy shop environments • Build backend systems that track results, flag missing steps, and generate documentation, quotes, and invoices • Design workflow systems guiding technicians through safety scans, system calibrations, and post-repair resets • Develop adaptive checklists and audit trails based on vehicle make/model, repair type, and safety regulations • Create dashboards, alerts, and reports for billable services, liability reduction, and compliance • Build durable mobile/tablet user interfaces usable with dirty or gloved hands • Integrate OEM diagnostic systems, repair management platforms, and vehicle data APIs • Implement LLM-powered diagnostic summaries and natural-language documentation • Convert repair estimates into step-by-step work orders • Develop intelligent automation turning raw data into actionable instructions • Own data models, business logic, integrations, and intelligence layers • Define scope, prototype, iterate quickly, and take features from idea to production

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of fullstack development experience • Deep experience designing scalable, maintainable, and secure system architectures • Data modeling and database design experience • Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and data protection best practices • Proficiency in React and TypeScript • Experience with modern UI patterns and mobile-first responsive design • Proficiency in Node.js, Python, REST APIs, and service design • Proficiency with PostgreSQL / SQL and performance optimization • Experience with GCP, Azure, or AWS, including deployment, scaling, and DevOps basics • Experience working with LLMs, AI tools, and intelligent features • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and reliable delivery workflows • Ability to take features from idea to production independently • Ability to work in early-stage environments, handle ambiguity, define scope, prototype, and iterate quickly • Nice-to-have: Experience or familiarity with the automotive repair industry • Nice-to-have: Knowledge of OBD-II, ADAS systems, repair workflows, or shop management software • Nice-to-have: Experience building compliant software in regulated fields • Nice-to-have: Background in hardware, embedded systems, or vehicle data protocols such as CAN bus and diagnostics APIs • Nice-to-have: Hands-on experience with LLM pipelines, structured outputs, RAG, or AI agent workflows
