📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain ingestion pipelines from source systems to the Bronze layer • Clean, standardize, and consolidate data in the Silver layer • Model Gold-layer datasets using dbt • Collaborate with Product, Go-to-Market (GTM), and Artificial Intelligence teams to transform business needs into data products • Support external clients with data access, Embedded BI dashboards, and data exports • Track pipeline SLAs, resolve production incidents, and perform data quality checks • Maintain catalog and data lineage metadata • Respond to regulatory requests, provide audit evidence, and support incident investigations • Implement new ingestion mechanisms, including API-based SaaS connectors and data streams • Design datasets optimized for artificial intelligence applications • Optimize lakehouse platform costs and performance • Design and maintain ETL processes, data models, and schemas • Monitor integration processes and collaborate with data source owners • Provide technical support and continuously improve data engineering practices

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and ETL processes • Proficiency in Python and SQL • Experience with AWS data services, including S3, Glue, and Athena • Hands-on experience with dbt (data build tool) for data transformation and modeling • Knowledge of data lakehouse architectures and the medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers) • Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases • Authorized to work in Canada • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills • Strong attention to detail • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction
