📋 Description

• Own delivery of motion planning features from design through integration for autonomous trucks • Solve on-vehicle problems and deliver customer-focused planning features • Provide safe, smooth trajectories for the autonomous driving system • Shape long-term architecture and roadmap while ensuring timely feature delivery • Collaborate with systems engineers to deliver a safe, well-tested product • Write clean, maintainable, high-performance software using modern C++ and Python • Collaborate with Autonomy teams including Trajectory Generation, Trajectory Evaluation, World Fusion, Prediction, Perception, Localization, and Mapping • Work with verification teams on testing and validation of motion planning modules • Use unit testing, simulation, and log simulation extensively • Participate in design and iteration exercises and align stakeholders through presentations and communication

🎯 Requirements

• Strong C++ and Python skills, particularly in resource-constrained environments • Experience developing code for real-world robotics/semi-autonomous platforms • Motion planning experience • Ability and eagerness to work across the decision-making stack • Position may require verification of residence, U.S. person status, and/or citizenship status • May require compliance with U.S. export control regulations and obtaining a U.S. government export license • Strong written and verbal communication skills
