📋 Description

• Maintain general ledger accounts and develop financial statements and reports • Perform complex accounting activities and specialized assignments • Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual period close processes • Design, implement and maintain internal controls, financial-system reports and interfaces • Prepare and/or review account reconciliations, cost reports, billings, bank reconciliations and other financial reports • Provide information to auditors and management • Prepare audit schedules • Recommend procedures and implement corrective actions for operational and compliance issues • Review and/or prepare federal, state and other regulatory reports • Review and/or prepare financial transactions and general ledger journal entries and supporting documentation • Review, maintain, reconcile and update general ledger accounts • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders • Provide guidance to lower-level personnel as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university • Three (3) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience • Ability to analyze and develop solutions to complex problems • Ability to apply judgment and make informed decisions • Ability to communicate complex concepts in simple form to non-finance users • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships • Ability to manage, organize, prioritize, multi-task and adapt to changing priorities • Ability to work effectively as a team player and leader • Knowledge of computer systems and accounting software • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) • Knowledge of local, state and federal regulatory requirements related to the functional area • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for GAAP, tax issues, and financial reporting • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Workday), Microsoft Office, Microsoft Platforms, Power Automate, and Power BI • Must comply with Joint Commission requirements, hospital policies and procedures, Service Standards, and Code of Conduct • Must meet applicable licensure and health screening requirements
