• Sell Teaching Strategies' full line of products and services to early childhood markets • Identify, direct, and coordinate sales opportunities with support from internal teams • Build knowledge of Teaching Strategies' products, services, and the competitive early childhood development landscape • Achieve defined sales revenue numbers for the assigned territory • Contribute to the development and implementation of a strategic sales plan • Uncover and meet customer and prospect needs through collaborative relationships and solution delivery • Participate in new license, upsell, and marketing campaigns to uncover business opportunities • Qualify leads and collaborate with the field sales team through the full sales cycle, or manage the full sales cycle for certain-sized customers • Manage the opportunity pipeline strategically and creatively • Use Salesforce to track pipeline information and sales progress • Maintain customer relationships and communicate customer feedback • Communicate regularly with the Manager, sales team, and territory clients • Follow up on phone and email communications and document all activity • Travel strategically to clients throughout the assigned territory as needed • Attend occasional domestic in-person team, department, and company meetings
• 2-4 years of experience in sales with a track record of success; education and/or technology sales experience highly desired • Experience performing market analysis and building/managing a sales pipeline • Experience with Salesforce or another CRM solution is highly desired • Ability to work a schedule to accommodate an assigned territory • Mastery of successful selling skills such as listening, determining needs, answering questions, proposing solutions and closing the sale • Demonstrated ability to generate new business and relationship building • Knowledge of educational structures and ability to sell to multiple decision makers at multiple levels a plus • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Effective organizational skills and presentation skills • Bachelor's Degree required
