📋 Description

• Develop engaging experiences for millions of users across mobile and web applications • Design and implement scalable apps and services within a unified product and system architecture • Brainstorm and evaluate product features with product and UX teams • Collaborate and pair with developers to develop solutions and teach technical skills • Contribute to development standards, code quality, and engineering improvements • Champion automated testing and own backend service reliability • Participate in on-call responsibilities and incident management • Evaluate and test new technologies • Help teammates overcome obstacles, resolve blockers, and complete tasks

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience leading large projects on high-scale, distributed software systems as a software engineer • Proficiency in full stack development with Node, Python, Golang, Ruby, and JavaScript using React or similar • Experience with SQL and relational databases such as MySQL / GCP Cloud SQL, including migrations, profiling, and optimization • Hands-on experience developing APIs and services for mobile applications and web clients at scale • Successfully delivered complex projects, including debugging problems spanning multiple systems • Experience working with and architecting APIs, event streams, webhooks, etc. • Experience working within and towards a distributed system
