📋 Description

• Analyze information and recommend innovative solutions to complex business problems related to existing systems • Own and serve as subject matter expert for large software systems and business initiatives • Lead software engineering design reviews and assess feasibility within time and cost constraints • Write extensible software frameworks • Translate business requirements into software solutions • Optimize complex code • Lead architectural design and technical planning for major platforms and features, including the Worldpay Payment Facilitation system • Create technical specifications, select technologies, and define end-to-end architecture for mission-critical payment solutions • Develop production-level payment systems using Java, Spring Boot, and Python • Build complex features and implement third-party integrations such as Stripe and TriPOS • Develop on GCP and AWS cloud platforms • Perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers • Collaborate with product managers on technical solutions • Serve as subject matter expert and primary escalation point for production payment issues • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, manage system health on GCP, and patch critical issues

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field • One (1) year of post-baccalaureate experience as a software engineer in the finance field or related position • Experience with Java, Hibernate, Spring, Apache Struts, Full-Stack Development, Oracle database, High-Volume Transaction Processing, data reporting, and process automation
