📋 Description

• Travel 100% throughout Terracon’s Gulf Coast division, including Tennessee, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia • Perform field testing, observation, and inspection of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, steel, and other construction materials • Work on transportation, commercial building, wind farm, and other high-profile projects • Communicate with project managers, engineering technicians, client representatives, contractor representatives, and other stakeholders • Transport material samples and identifying documentation to laboratories for further testing and analysis • Tabulate, prepare, and submit written and digital data and observation reports for daily transmittal to the Terracon Project Manager • Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles, and work areas • Assist with scheduling and dispatch of technicians to project sites as needed • Follow safety rules, perform pre-task planning, report safety concerns, and maintain project quality standards • Work under close supervision while progressively assuming increased training and responsibility • Adapt to changing project environments, jobsite conditions, geographic locations, and team structures

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent • 6 months experience required • Willingness to travel up to 100% and for extended periods without the ability to travel home • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including overtime, weekends, and extended shifts • A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required • Obtain ACI certification within 90 days of hire • Successful completion of related internal safety certifications • Nuclear Density Gauge certification within 6 months of hire is preferred
