📋 Description

• Own Finance to Manage across General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Fixed Assets, Cash Management and the close across multiple customer engagements • Lead finance discovery with controllers, accounting, AP, AR and treasury teams • Review legacy configurations, reports and close checklists; distinguish requirements from habits and workarounds • Translate legacy finance models into Oracle designs covering chart of accounts, ledgers, currencies, legal entities, business units/operating units and balancing segments • Architect Subledger Accounting and Accounting Hub rules, intercompany, multi-currency, revaluation, translation, tax and financial reporting • Own fit-gap analysis and determine configuration, process change, extension or third-party product disposition • Configure GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets and Cash Management hands-on in both EBS and Fusion • Configure Fusion using Functional Setup Manager, Enterprise Structures Configurator and rapid-implementation spreadsheets • Configure EBS using setup forms, FNDLOAD and iSetup; design responsibilities and roles with segregation of duties • Lead CRPs, SIT, UAT, defect triage, mock month-end closes, subledger-to-GL reconciliation and legacy trial-balance comparisons • Design and configure Cost Accounting flows when in scope • Lead Oracle finance pre-sales discovery calls, solution workshops, demonstrations and orals • Shape solutions and estimates, including scope, approach, assumptions, staffing, effort and risk • Contribute to proposals, RFP responses and statements of work • Present finance and AI-driven solutions to AP clerks, CFOs, controllers and other stakeholders • Act as the primary finance counterpart for client partners and Technical Program Managers • Contribute finance expertise and reusable assets to the Tessera platform • Guide and review Oracle finance SMEs, including offshore team members • Work approximately 60% delivery, 25% pre-sales/client leadership and 15% platform enablement/product input

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years in Oracle Financials • At least three full-lifecycle implementations as finance lead or solution architect • Experience with both Oracle E-Business Suite R12.x and Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials, including at least one implementation of each • At least one implementation moving a customer from a different ERP family, such as PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, NetSuite, SAP ECC or Infor • Hands-on configuration experience in General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Fixed Assets and Cash Management in both EBS and Fusion • Strong accounting and enterprise-structure design knowledge, including chart of accounts, ledgers, legal entities, Subledger Accounting / Accounting Hub, intercompany, multi-currency and period-end close • Proven pre-sales experience on Oracle opportunities, including discovery calls, solution demos, orals, estimates, proposals, RFP responses and statements of work • Ability to lead workshops with finance teams and present to CFOs or controllers • Experience leading finance testing through go-live and first closes, including CRPs, SIT, UAT, mock closes and reconciliation • Ability to manage several engagements concurrently • Ability to learn and become fluent in the Tessera platform within the first months • Experience working with distributed onshore, nearshore and offshore delivery teams • Strong asynchronous communication discipline • Excellent verbal and written business English • Strong presentation ability to business and technical audiences • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • US work authorization is addressed in the application form • Preferred: Cost Accounting, Fusion Revenue Management, Advanced Collections, financial reporting and consolidation tools, PeopleSoft/JD Edwards/SAP ECC migrations, relevant industry experience, CPA/CA/ACCA or Oracle Financials certification, AI/automation/RPA experience • Spanish, Portuguese or German is a plus but not a must-have
