📋 Description

• Provide excellent customer service by answering customer questions about disability and leave management claims • Initiate claims according to claims best practices • Promote digital self-service capabilities • Utilize multiple computer applications to accurately document claim information • Take ownership of each caller’s needs and use every touch point to build value and The Hartford brand • Complete multi-week classroom new hire training • Work the required training and post-training schedules

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated background in customer service, call center, insurance, retail, restaurant or a related field • Ability to work in a fast-paced complex environment while navigating multiple programs • Problem solving and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail • Excellent communication skills with ability to empathize with customers and colleagues • Adaptability • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required • Spanish bilingual a plus • Dedicated workspace free from distractions during work and training hours • Commitment to the training and work schedule • High speed broadband internet service required; DSL, wireless, Wi-Fi, hotspots, fiber without a modem and satellite are not recommended or supported • Internet provider supplied modem/router/gateway hardwired to the Hartford-issued computer with an ethernet cable • Minimum upload/download speeds of 10Mbps/300 Mbps • Successful completion of a multi-week classroom new hire training course as a condition of employment • May need to work holidays based on business need
