📋 Description

• Oversee a portfolio of global clinical studies and line manage Lead and Senior Lead recruitment staff • Own the global patient recruitment process and oversee implementation and effectiveness of recruitment strategies • Provide coaching and mentoring to project team members • Manage staff activities including interviewing, selection, professional development, goal setting, performance management, counseling, and separations • Approve actions related to salary administration, hiring, corrective action, and terminations • Review and approve time records, expense reports, leave requests, and overtime • Support patient recruitment at internal, client, and bid defense meetings • Bridge strategy and operational teams to optimize strategy execution and retention • Act as functional lead for global recruitment and retention strategies • Work with local teams to understand country-level patient pathways and ensure region-appropriate methods and requirements • Identify risks, develop contingency plans, and escalate issues • Serve as subject matter authority in client communications • Track metrics and build progress reports on enrollment targets • Lead resourcing processes and evaluate workload and efficiency • Consult on proposals and RFIs and attend bid defenses • Oversee global study recruitment and retention plans • Identify recruitment and retention barriers and develop mitigation plans • Collaborate with the Central Recruitment campaign team on solutions for specific patient populations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification • Previous patient recruitment management experience, including creation and management of global trial strategies, comparable to 10 years • 5+ years leading teams or managing staff • Equivalent education, training, and/or directly related experience may be considered • Ability to plan, prioritize, and allocate resources • Experience monitoring team productivity, quality, and performance metrics • Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment • Excellent client-facing and interpersonal skills • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities • Analytical ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, patient privacy laws, and ethical considerations in patient recruitment • Proficiency in project management tools and software • Ability to communicate and understand information with diverse groups • Ability to work upright and stationary during typical working hours • Ability to use and learn standard office equipment and technology • Ability to perform successfully under pressure while handling multiple projects • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, including drug screening
