📋 Description

• Provide PMO/Capability Development Manager cybersecurity support per DoWI 8500.01 • Assess and continuously monitor cybersecurity risk against RMF, CSF, NIST, and the AO’s ISCM strategy • Implement security controls using software engineering methodologies, system/security engineering principles, secure design, secure architecture, and secure coding techniques • Coordinate security activities with the information security architect, ISSM, ISSO, ISO, and common control provider • Complete training and maintain required cybersecurity certifications • Maintain current and accessible AF IT cybersecurity documentation • Support authorization to operate, approval to connect, and corrective actions in plans of actions and milestones • Develop ISCM strategies and monitor system or environmental changes • Continuously monitor IT environments for security-relevant events • Assess configuration changes and security-control implementation quality • Report cybersecurity events and configuration changes affecting authorization or security posture • Ensure ISSOs and privileged users receive technical training and maintain certifications and clearances • Ensure AF IT is properly acquired, documented, operated, used, maintained, and disposed of • Validate and analyze automated security-testing findings and developer adjudications • Document cybersecurity deficiencies, vulnerabilities, and change requests in DoW tracking systems

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship • Bachelor’s degree in a related field • 10 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline • Experience providing guidance on access control, configuration management, system and communications protection, contingency planning, incident handling, system and information integrity, security and privacy training, and software development cybersecurity activities • Experience performing cybersecurity duties under DoWI 8500.01, AFI 17-130, and AFI 17-1301 • Experience validating, evaluating, and analyzing findings and developer adjudications using Fortify, Checkmarx, SonarQube, or AppScan • Experience using DoW tracking systems such as Jira, HP ALM, and eMASS • Experience conducting information security continuous monitoring (ISCM) • Must meet and maintain DCWF Information Systems Security Developer work role 631 advanced/principal certification requirements • FITSI FITSP-D required • GIAC GCSA, or (ISC)2 CISSP-ISSEP • Must have and maintain an active T3/Secret security clearance • Certified Scrum Master preferred • Other Agile certifications preferred • Working knowledge of Agile Development methodology preferred • Experience with Checkmarx, SonarQube, Maven, Fortify, Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket desired • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00–5:00 • Available for 0–10% travel • Relocation assistance is not available
