📋 Description

• Design, review, and govern security architectures for AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-premises infrastructure • Ensure alignment with enterprise security standards, threat models, and regulatory requirements • Provide security design guidance for platforms, applications, and services • Participate in architecture and design reviews to identify risks and recommend mitigations • Implement and manage cloud security controls including IAM, network security, data protection, logging, and monitoring • Secure servers, networks, virtualization platforms, and hybrid integrations • Support secure configuration baselines and hardening standards • Own and drive the vulnerability management lifecycle from discovery through verification • Analyze scan results and penetration test findings to determine risk and business impact • Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to prioritize remediation • Perform security risk assessments, threat modeling, and impact analysis • Translate technical findings into risk statements and actionable recommendations • Track and report risks for leadership and audit readiness • Contribute technical analysis to incident response investigations • Support compliance initiatives by providing technical evidence and assessments • Develop and maintain security standards, patterns, and reference architectures

🎯 Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience in cyber security engineering • Hands-on expertise in cloud and on-premises environments • Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and associated security services • Background in security architecture, design reviews, and infrastructure security • Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools, risk assessment methodologies, and remediation processes • Understanding of network security, operating system security, and identity and access management • Ability to explain security risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Experience with security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, OWASP • Experience with container and Kubernetes security • Experience supporting hybrid or large-scale enterprise environments • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM majors with advanced experience • For U.S.-based roles, minimum 4 years of experience is stated alongside the required bachelor's degree • Experience implementing and governing cyber security frameworks such as NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, and IEC 62443 • Program and project management experience; expertise with Agile development teams • Experience with secure coding principles, code signing, and secure boot • Experience with penetration testing and ethical hacking • Knowledge of CI/CD and automation tools including Chef, Git, and Jenkins • Knowledge of identity management and identity federation including SAML, OAuth, SCIM, and XACML • Experience developing SOAP/REST web services • Must be available for on-call security response • Knowledge of application risk identification and evaluation techniques • Experience securing applications within AWS, Azure, or similar cloud platforms • Experience with information security technologies and processes in SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, or cloud environments • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • GE HealthCare will not sponsor employment visas for this opening • Successful completion of a drug screen may be required
