📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and deploy end-to-end software applications and automations • Work with the Software Architect and Platform Development Manager across Azure and traditional datacenter environments • Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot legacy applications as an escalation resource • Mentor junior resources • Maintain runbooks and knowledge bases • Work on complex and scaled applications • Collaborate with the data science team, platform automation team, designers, developers, product managers, and other business units • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot web and mobile applications • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automations and scripts across languages such as Python and PowerShell • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following documented frameworks • Enhance documentation and maintain knowledge articles • Participate in technology assessments and proof-of-concept designs • Lead code reviews and enhance technology process frameworks • Debug and troubleshoot software and script issues • Perform root cause analysis in complex applications • Test and deploy applications, scripts, and cloud-based technologies • Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, development tools, programming techniques, and industry standards • Protect operations and maintain HIPAA compliance by keeping information confidential and working within specific guidelines • Perform other duties as assigned by management

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field of study • 7+ years of experience as a software developer • 7+ years of experience performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting methodologies • Full understanding and 5+ years of experience implementing Well Architected Frameworks • 7+ years of experience with functional, imperative, and object-oriented languages; knowledge of C# and Java preferred • 4+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Python • 4+ years of experience with Azure-based microservices and infrastructure • Experience coding, testing, and documenting complex systems • Ability to use version control software such as GIT • Experience communicating with users, technical teams, and management to collect requirements, identify tasks, provide estimates, and meet production deadlines • Experience with professional software engineering best practices across the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations • Experience with unit test methodologies • Eagerness and willingness to learn new technologies • 5+ years of experience with SQL Server or Azure SQL • 5+ years of experience working with Azure DevOps as a code repository/task tracking system and leveraging automated tests, CI builds, and release pipelines • Ability to work efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously • Ability to apply the Azure Well Architected Framework to designs, troubleshooting, and deployments • Ability to learn quickly across various technologies and programming languages • Ability to work through complex problems in a structured manner • Ability to work in an Agile software development environment and within a Scrum team • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
