📋 Description

• Improve and maintain foundational infrastructure components, including compute platforms, cloud services, service mesh technologies, cloud provisioning platforms, and networking infrastructure • Improve reliability, scalability, efficiency, availability, and operational effectiveness • Partner with Cloud Infrastructure customers and stakeholders to resolve production issues and operational challenges • Triage, investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical problems • Collaborate with Cloud Infrastructure engineers to diagnose root causes and implement solutions • Identify opportunities to reduce operational toil through automation and process improvements • Develop scripts and tooling to increase operational efficiency and reliability • Maintain and improve documentation to support self-service and operational excellence • Monitor trends and recurring issues to identify areas for infrastructure enhancement and investment • Support and improve cloud-native platform services and infrastructure components

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience with public cloud platforms, particularly AWS • Hands-on experience with Amazon EC2, Amazon EKS, and other Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) offerings • Strong Kubernetes administration and support experience • Proven experience troubleshooting and debugging production systems • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to work across multiple technologies and platforms to resolve technical issues • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience developing automation and scripting solutions using Python, Golang, Bash, and Ruby • Passion for operational excellence, system reliability, quality, and continuous improvement
