📋 Description

• Lead, coach, and grow a team of systems engineers and a tech lead • Set clear expectations, maintain a high performance bar, and develop engineers responsible for critical internal systems • Own joiner, mover, and leaver automation end to end in Okta Workflows • Ensure access is correctly provisioned, updated during role changes, and fully closed upon departure, including API keys and service credentials • Build and own device assurance across macOS and Windows • Define OS, browser, and device-state policy before enforcement • Rationalize the ITSM estate and improve self-service • Govern SaaS procurement with SSO enforcement and access reviews • Own identity, access, and connector infrastructure for the company-wide AI stack, including MCP servers and Vercel • Build visibility into work intake and team capacity • Partner with Security, GRC, Finance, and Engineering to create safe self-service guardrails

🎯 Requirements

• Track record of raising the bar on an inherited team through sustained one-on-one coaching • Appetite for addressing inherited complexity, including endpoint programs, migrations, and workflows • Enablement-first approach to making systems safe to self-serve • Technical depth to evaluate estimates and distinguish genuine risk from reported progress • Hands-on fluency with AI in enterprise tooling • Experience deploying or governing AI-assisted automation in platforms such as Okta, Intune, Jamf, Atlassian, or GitHub • Experience spanning identity, endpoint, ITSM, and procurement, or deep expertise in most with expanded scope • Comfort operating through influence across partner organizations • 8+ years in IT or systems engineering • 3+ years managing and developing engineers • Experience ideally at a company that scaled through a significant headcount inflection • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship • Open to using AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact
