📋 Description

• Lead and mentor a cross-functional engineering team spanning Java, PL/SQL, QA, and DevOps • Establish prioritization and escalation paths to reduce dependency on senior management and contain escalations within engineering • Oversee planning, execution, and delivery with emphasis on quality, timelines, and operational efficiency • Provide hands-on technical guidance in Java, database systems, Oracle/PL-SQL, and architecture planning/design reviews • Align engineering execution with strategic IT objectives and the long-term technology roadmap • Implement governance for progress tracking, visibility using Jira and MoM, incident RCA, and release management • Drive process improvements to shift effort from operations to strategic initiatives • Manage risks and proactively unblock teams

🎯 Requirements

• 12–18+ years of software engineering experience • Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, database architecture, Oracle/PL-SQL, and system design • Proven track record in project delivery, technical oversight, and architecture governance • Working knowledge of cloud, CI/CD, and DevOps practices • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills • Healthcare/compliance knowledge, including HIPAA and SOC 2, is good to have • Healthcare domain experience is preferred • Experience with HIPAA-compliant application development • Experience leading multiple product teams • Onshore location is preferred/required
