📋 Description

• Design, refactor, and write patches for extensive Golang codebases • Read and understand large Golang codebases • Write comprehensive tests using the standard Golang library, Ginkgo, and Gomega • Apply Test Driven Development (TDD) practices • Troubleshoot applications using logs and profiling techniques • Deploy, scale, and maintain applications on Kubernetes platforms • Manage Kubernetes internal mechanisms and resource quota systems • Develop API services in Golang • Develop web/HTTP microservices • Work on high-stakes, high-visibility projects with leading enterprises • Lead accounts, shape engagements, and grow the portfolio

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred) • 14+ years of professional experience in software development with Golang • Proven experience with Kubernetes and container technologies • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Excellent communication and teamwork skills • Experience/knowledge of Java and the ability to read and understand code • Strong programming experience, preferably in Python or Java, with Kubernetes • Experience managing monorepos • Familiarity with CI tools • Experience with Bazel as a build system • Deep knowledge of Golang, including language internals • Ability to read and understand large Golang codebases • Experience writing comprehensive tests using the standard Golang library, Ginkgo, and Gomega • Effective use of Test Driven Development (TDD) • Experience troubleshooting applications using logs and profiling techniques • In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes internal mechanisms and resource quota system management • Hands-on experience deploying, scaling, and maintaining applications on Kubernetes platforms • Extensive knowledge of Docker and container technologies • Strong understanding of Linux-based systems, especially control groups features related to resource management and container technology • Proficiency in PostgreSQL • Knowledge of Prometheus and general metrics and monitoring systems • Experience developing API services in Golang • Strong understanding of web/HTTP microservices development
