📋 Description

• Map alert sources across Systems, Network, and Security engineering and identify integration points • Build and maintain the routing/forwarding layer for priority alerts into GIOC ticketing and paging tools • Preserve alert priority/severity and sufficient context for L1 triage • Validate routing logic with engineering subject-matter experts • Own on-call and notification wiring to meet acknowledgment SLAs without manual relay • Design and build a unified operational dashboard across Airtel, Nextra, Equinix, QTS, and CoreSite platforms • Define dashboard v1 scope with GIOC and pillar leads and deliver it on a committed milestone • Run legacy tools and the new dashboard in parallel during transition • Build SLA and health visualizations for acknowledgment time, escalation accuracy, and open-alert aging • Build correlation engines and integrate telemetry from product teams • Document the routing architecture and dashboard for GIOC or the Tools team

🎯 Requirements

• 5–8 years in Tools/Platform Engineering or a similar infrastructure role • 3–5 years hands-on with monitoring/alerting tooling, including Icinga or equivalent NMS, Grafana, and at least one SIEM platform (Splunk, QRadar, or Sentinel) • Experience rapidly mapping and consolidating a multi-team monitoring and alerting estate • 3+ years building integrations against APIs/webhooks, with scripting ability (Python or similar) • 2–3 years building or substantially modifying operational dashboards (Grafana, Kibana, Power BI, or similar) • Understanding of ticketing/ITSM workflow tools (Jira, Confluence, Mattermost) and alert priority/severity mapping into ticket fields • Preferred: prior exposure to multi-provider/datacenter operational environments • Preferred: experience supporting or building for a NOC/SOC or similar 24x7 operations function
