📋 Description

• Lead Westinghouse's domestic engagement with the U.S. Government, including Executive Offices, agencies, and Congress • Engage associations, think tanks, non-governmental organizations, and other third parties to support domestic growth strategy • Use governmental and industry relationships to advance Westinghouse's advocacy agenda and promote domestic civil nuclear projects • Advise the Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs, and senior Westinghouse leaders on political, policy, and regulatory priorities • Develop and implement advocacy campaigns requiring U.S. Government advocacy or approval • Position Westinghouse in the public policy community and lead industry voices on legislative and policy priorities • Identify and secure government funding or support opportunities • Manage federal, state, and local government relations • Lead participation in outside business councils and trade associations • Represent Westinghouse interests in SES-level meetings

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in government or the private sector dealing with trade advocacy issues • Experience with legislative bodies, executive agencies, trade associations, and policy organizations • Experience working in an industry with large government contracting exposure • Knowledge of infrastructure, tax, trade, labor, safety, and waste management policy areas • Experience executing integrated campaigns supporting corporate priorities, including appropriations, domestic policy, and state and local relations for large-scale critical infrastructure and manufacturing initiatives • Expertise preparing and staffing senior business executives to deliver organizational messages in public and private settings with high-level policymakers • Expertise dealing with high-profile stakeholders such as elected officials, executives, and external constituencies
