📋 Description

• Engineer, design, and review concrete formwork and shoring layouts, including custom elements for complex projects • Support pre-construction and active project phases • Develop detailed formwork and shoring drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit • Perform structural calculations to validate load capacities and ensure safety • Prepare bills of material and review peer designs for accuracy and optimization • Plan and lay out formwork and shoring systems based on inventory, schedule, cost, and customer requirements • Collaborate with construction teams to support effective implementation of designs • Provide technical input to sales and operations teams throughout the project lifecycle • Attend customer meetings during and after the sales process to support technical discussions and design alignment • Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems • Independently perform assignments and develop solution approaches • May oversee project completion, including planning, assigning, monitoring, and reviewing work • Contribute to employees' professional development

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA in a related discipline required • Generally 5-8 years of experience in a related field, or MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field • Certification is required in some areas • BS Civil Engineering • Minimum 3 years of experience designing bridge overhang brackets • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications • Professional Engineers License preferred • Ability to perform structural calculations and validate load capacities • Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit • Knowledge of civil engineering principles for formwork and shoring systems
