📋 Description

• Build and lead the engineering team behind GRC Reporting • Lead engineers, assigning roles and tasks based on team goals and individual growth areas • Own the team delivery schedule and communicate risks to group leadership • Own the reporting system, principles, and patterns across GRC solutions • Drive development of the composition layer, including charts, narrative, tables, dynamic data, template import, and report generation • Build and maintain lineage, versioning, and persistence infrastructure • Define and execute product quality strategy • Reinforce company values, product development standards, and agile practices • Assess and document individual performance • Run regular 1:1s and coach engineers through career development, technical growth, and obstacles • Build team health, resolve conflict, and create growth opportunities • Participate in recruiting, selection, and onboarding • Serve as the engineering voice in the GRC Reporting triad with Product Management and UX • Manage cross-team handoffs between controls management, audit management, risk management, and reporting • Define GRC data structures required for reporting and hold outcome teams accountable • Represent resourcing needs and priorities to leadership • Partner with group leaders on team and group objectives • Identify and communicate technical risk early • Build AI-native reporting workflows while maintaining manual paths • Ensure AI-generated outputs are explainable, auditable, and traceable to source data • Maintain quality standards for AI-generated content • Evaluate output based on judgment and outcomes • Ensure code reviews and quality gates address AI-generated code risks • Coach engineers to work effectively with AI while retaining independent reasoning

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5+ years of relevant engineering experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree • 3+ years directly managing engineers, including supervisory experience of supervisors and/or individual contributors • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a high-compliance environment • Experience in career development, performance coaching, and building team culture • Experience with GRC, compliance, audit, or risk management domains or similar high-compliance, high-stakes product domains • Experience building shared platform capabilities consumed by multiple product teams • Experience evaluating engineering output in an AI-augmented environment • Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills • Solid grounding in SDLC, computer science fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design • Experience with automated testing or SDLC process improvement • Experience in an Agile development environment • Strong software testing background • Willingness to travel up to 25% for team and corporate meetings • Reliable internet access for remote work
