📋 Description

• Write, review, and maintain code primarily written in Ruby, Rails, and Hotwire • Develop and maintain the CI/CD pipeline for rapidly deploying well-tested code to production multiple times per day • Solve complex domain problems using Rails best practices, functional principles, and service-oriented design • Work with the Product team to identify high-leverage solutions supporting Wunder’s clean-energy mission • Shape architectural philosophy and technical direction by exploring emerging technologies and new problem spaces • Help evolve the engineering team and processes during rapid growth • Collaborate with founders, product, finance, solar, and engineering teams • Build automation for solar development, solar value evaluation, and loan servicing systems

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years calling yourself a hacker, developer, or engineer • 5+ years designing and building high-quality backend systems • Experience with Ruby on Rails and Hotwire • Some understanding of PostgreSQL, Heroku, AWS, and CircleCI • Ability to work on a high-output, challenging engineering team • Motivation to build technology supporting the clean-energy future • Familiarity with systems for assessing, developing, and managing energy assets is ideal • Ability to thrive in a creative, inventive, fast-paced rapid-growth environment • Willingness to work cross-functionally • Ability to articulate and implement solutions and streamline processes • Ability to recognize and pursue multiple solutions to complex problems
