📋 Description

• Write, review, and maintain code primarily written in Ruby using Rails and Hotwire • Develop and maintain the CI/CD pipeline for rapidly deploying well-tested code to production multiple times per day • Solve complex domain problems using Rails best practices, functional principles, and service-oriented design • Work with the Product team to identify high-leverage solutions supporting Wunder’s mission • Shape architectural philosophy and technical direction by exploring emerging technologies and new problem spaces • Use flexible deep-work and collaboration time, including a five-hour daily no-meeting zone • Establish how the engineering team and processes evolve during rapid growth • Automate solar development, solar value evaluation, and loan servicing systems • Collaborate with founders, product, finance, solar experts, and engineering teams

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years working as a hacker, developer, or engineer • Deep experience designing and building high-quality backend systems • Experience with Ruby on Rails and Hotwire • Some understanding of PostgreSQL, Heroku, AWS, and CircleCI • Ability to work on a high-output, challenging engineering team • Motivation to build technology supporting the clean energy future • Ideally familiar with systems for assessment, development, and management of energy assets • Ability to thrive in a creative, inventive, fast-paced, rapid-growth environment • Willingness to work cross-functionally • Ability to articulate and roll out solutions and streamline processes to increase efficiency
