📋 Description
• Analyze firewall configurations, access rules, and overall network/security architecture for County departments • Identify vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and staff skills gaps relative to current IT security practices • Review firewall diagnostics, rule sets, and configurations for security gaps • Evaluate network segmentation and overall security architecture against best practices • Assess IT security staffing and skills gaps, quantifying time spent on security matters and shared IT/security responsibilities
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of network security architecture or firewall review experience • Strong knowledge of enterprise firewall platforms (Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, or equivalent) • Must remain within the continental United States • CCNP Security, JNCIP-SEC, or equivalent certification (preferred) • Experience conducting IT security staffing/skills-gap assessments (preferred)
