📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers building AI solutions • Drive planning, execution, and delivery of production-ready agentic AI applications from concept through production • Partner closely with Product and Platform Engineering to prioritize work that delivers measurable customer value • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, rapid iteration, and continuous learning • Define engineering best practices for agentic workflows, tool integrations, evaluations, and production readiness • Balance speed of execution with engineering quality, reliability, and long-term maintainability • Remove blockers, improve development processes, and build robust AI applications alongside the team • Work closely with internal stakeholders to translate business problems into engineering priorities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field • 7+ years of software engineering experience, including experience leading engineering teams • 2+ years of experience managing engineers building customer-facing software products • Strong understanding of modern AI application development, including LLMs, AI agents, MCP, tool calling, workflows, and enterprise integrations • Demonstrated ability to lead teams through ambiguity and rapidly deliver production-quality software • Strong technical judgment to guide architecture and engineering tradeoff discussions • Excellent communication skills and experience partnering with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership • Proven experience hiring, mentoring, and developing high-performing engineers • Growth mindset with a collaborative, low-ego leadership style • Passion for building inclusive, psychologically safe teams valuing ownership and continuous improvement • US Citizenship or Greencard required due to US Government contract requirements
