📋 Description

• Integrate and extend the Backbase digital banking platform • Contribute to client deliverables for financial services projects • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and development teams • Transform business requirements into technical architecture • Develop compelling digital products and services • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code • Apply Agile values and methodologies to project work • Perform peer code reviews • Solve complex business challenges for clients • Work across multiple projects or tasks

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on commercial experience integrating, extending, or implementing the Backbase Digital Banking Platform in production environments • 5+ years of production-level experience with Java, Spring, and Spring extensions, including Web MVC, Spring Boot, and Spring Security • Experience with SOAP and RESTful Web Services and tools such as XML, JSON, and RAML • Knowledge of microservices architecture • Experience performing unit testing using JUnit • Knowledge of application servers such as Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic, or JBoss • Strong grasp of Git, Subversion, and other source control technologies • Familiarity with Enterprise Integration Patterns and frameworks such as Apache Camel • Experience developing large-scale distributed systems • Experience working on a SaaS platform or with Service-Oriented Architectures • Experience with cloud technologies including AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes • Experience with security and systems that handle sensitive data • Experience in the financial services industry or professional services • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field • Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban • Knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI) • Consultative, professional, client-facing approach • Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, and peer code review skills • Ability to manage multiple projects or tasks • Ability to transform business requirements into technical architecture • Candidates outside Canada must work as independent contractors
