Description

• This position involves development and enhancement of the Parallel Works platform • Work with cloud APIs, workflow management frameworks, container systems, resource management tools, and parallel programming tools and libraries, OS performance measurement and monitoring tools, HPC schedulers and debuggers • Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure • Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks • Become highly fluent with the entire platform, be able to demonstrate it to current and potential customers, and engage with customers regarding platform customization and feature evolution • Work closely with the platform/UI/API developers to support and grow the overall platform product and service Provide 2nd and 3rd level support

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience with system administration/support for Linux and/or cloud systems • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • High performance data transport tools (CSP tools, Globus, Skyplane) • Solid cloud experience: AWS, Azure, Google, Oracle • Experience with containerization (Docker, k8s) • Solid Scripting skills (bash required) • Familiarity as a user on campus/company clusters • Experience using or administering HPC clusters in the requested skills
