Description

• This position supports the Director of Finance in all of his/her tasks. • This includes assisting with building the financial statements and reports, account reconciliations, Accounts Payable and Accounts receivable duties, and sales tax reporting and compliance. • Reconciling bank and credit card accounts • General Ledger Account Reconciliations • Data entry to build financial reports (Journal entries, etc.) • Entering customer invoices and vendor bills • Assisting with audit tasks and functions • Assistance with Sales Tax reporting/remittance • Report generation • Other duties as assigned • Applications/Software: Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, and Google Sheets • Accounting Software: Quickbooks, NetSuite, etc.

Requirements

• REQUIRED SERVICE: BusinessSupport VA • REQUESTED EXPERIENCE TIER LEVEL: Junior Level and above • MIN. HOURS/WEEK: 40 hours • SHIFT TIME ZONE: CST • SHIFT HOURS: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm • SHIFT DAYS: Monday to Friday • Number of VAs: 1 • PREFERENCES: - GENDER PREFERENCE: NONE - LANGUAGES SPOKEN/PREFERENCE: proficient in spoken and written English. - ACCENT PREFERENCE: Neutral to None - REGION PREFERENCES: NONE
