• Prepare regional beat plans, allocate targets and inputs, monitor performance, and drive secondary sales • Facilitate induction and onboarding of Territory Business Managers • Provide strategic input to territory target planning and long-term vision • Follow established processes and SOPs to appoint stockists • Manage Abbott product sales in assigned territories and achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets • Maintain the regional sales operating budget • Direct sales activities to achieve short- and long-range sales volumes and projections • Implement marketing strategies and campaigns, including CMEs and camps • Execute promotional and BTL activities in the assigned territory • Plan and forecast area demand • Coordinate with CFAs and stockists to maintain optimum inventory and meet demand • Ensure regional supply-chain efficiency, product availability, and expiry reduction • Train, develop, supervise, review, motivate, and support Territory Business Managers • Build relationships with opinion leaders and stockists and evaluate important customers • Ensure assigned personnel have appropriate training and qualifications • Ensure Abbott product distribution across assigned towns according to company plans • Plan trade-promotion activities and ensure TBM compliance with sales-force parameters • Lead adherence to Abbott’s Code of Business Conduct, FCPA, Pharmacovigilance, financial and administrative systems, and statutory and regulatory norms • Promote Abbott Values and professional behavior • Manage customer situations, service levels, audit compliance, transaction accuracy, customer/resource attrition, and business-strategy execution • Attend strategy meetings, briefing sessions, doctors’ meets, workshops, training programs, and other company activities
• Minimum qualification: Graduation • Minimum 5 years of prior experience in vaccine business • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role • Experience handling brand launches and subsequent stages • Thorough knowledge of the assigned territory is a plus, not mandatory • Open to relocation as per Abbott requirement • Excellent planning and operational skills • Good communication skills • Fluency in the local language of the assigned area/territory • Fluency in English is desirable • Good computer knowledge • Knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email writing • Problem-solving skills • Supervisory skills • Self-motivation • Result orientation • Ability to independently generate sales if required • High initiative • Ability to comply with Abbott Code of Business Conduct, FCPA, Pharmacovigilance, statutory, regulatory, and company requirements • Ability to perform continuous standing for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8-hour day)
• MBA/PG Diploma in Sales & Marketing/Business Management would be a plus • Travel: 100 % of the Time
