📋 Description

• Ensure consistent sales growth and achievement of sales goals and targets in assigned territories and key accounts • Identify new business opportunities, expand the customer base, execute projects, and preserve existing business relationships • Develop strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to expand AbbVie’s product range within designated key accounts • Collect field insights, initiate discussions on new initiatives, align internal stakeholders, and manage internal processes • Represent AbbVie professionally with strong knowledge of the industry, products, business environment, and best practices • Articulate product features, benefits, and clinical applications to address customer inquiries and concerns • Cultivate strategic relationships with customers, KOLs, TAEs, and SMEs across departments, institutions, societies, and the Academy of Medicine, Malaysia • Maintain long-term customer relationships and develop competitive strategies to support growth and productivity priorities • Drive strategic customer conversations using “The Challenger Sale” mindset and skillsets • Generate field insights, develop account action plans, align budgets and objectives, and lead flawless implementation • Manage hospital accounts and networks, including formulary listings, sample listings, purchasing and dispensing pharmacists, tenders, and price change requests • Identify buying decision-makers and build close business relationships with hospital stakeholders and specialists • Evaluate account-level needs, challenges, objectives, patient demographics, treatment preferences, and market trends • Follow the internal Master Approval Process for third-party promotional activities • Expand product usage within key accounts and develop tailored business opportunities with brand teams and internal stakeholders • Establish assigned programs and develop solutions within budgetary constraints • Travel frequently to meet HCPs and stakeholders, visit key accounts, address objections, and resolve issues professionally • Use Veeva CRM and VAE tools to enhance business reach and customer engagement • Conduct market intelligence, monitor competitor strategies, analyze findings, and formulate response strategies and tactics • Analyze sales and market data to generate growth strategies and resolve foreseeable issues • Use Infrared, IMS, and IQVIA data to enhance account management strategies • Forecast product demand and sales using historical data and market trends • Develop measurable key account sales plans and tactics, including monthly and quarterly forecast accuracy • Submit sales reports in Veeva Systems and meet Veeva CRM KPIs • Participate in special projects, pricing discussions, contract extensions or amendments, forecasting, business reviews, and customer service matters

🎯 Requirements

• University degree, preferably in science or business • Minimum of 3–5 years’ robust sales experience as a hospital representative in the relevant therapeutic area or healthcare industry • Preferably expertise in hematology products • Proven track record of successful program development and implementation is an added advantage • Proficient in verbal and written communication • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills • Mature, growth-oriented mindset; confident, analytical, and self-motivated • Driven, result-oriented, a team player, and demonstrates integrity • Experience in a medical environment • Sound judgment and strong work ethic • Ability to manage and motivate cross-functionally
