Description

• The Senior Software Engineer in Test (Sr. SEiT) is responsible for determining how to test software requirements through manual and automated testing techniques as well as mentoring other quality engineers in organizational and team processes, procedures, and tools. The Sr. SEiT is viewed as a champion of quality, a subject matter expert in testing techniques and as an informal leader of the team that holds team members to high standards and embraces the spirit of continuous improvement. • The Sr. SEiT will work within the SAFe framework to analyze, refine, and estimate stories as part of an Agile team; develop associated test plans that consider a wide variety of quality standards and then translate these scenarios into automated and manual tests. Finally, record the results of these tests, document identified bugs and work with the teams to resolve them.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, STEM, or Business-related degree. • Experience in the software industry with Quality Assurance roles or responsibilities. • Work experience in automated testing technologies and frameworks in GUI, API, and/or Mobile • Experience working within the Agile development methodology. • Experience performing root cause analysis to identify quality improvements, developing a plan to implement and managing the plan through to implementation. • Experience developing test plans for large bodies of work such as Features or Releases. • Experience identifying, refining and validating performance test requirements. • Comfortable providing informal leadership and mentoring to a small team of testers. • Working experience using Git source control. • Working knowledge of MS Windows 10/11 and Windows Server. • A conceptual understanding of SaaS, DevOps principles, networking and network components. • Self-reliant and motivated self-starter. • Excellent proficiency in both written and verbal English communication, ensuring clear and effective exchanges of information.
