• Manage and grow Actylis’ portfolio of excipients, APIs, and intermediates at new and existing customers • Expand and advance pipeline projects in the assigned territory • Manage account portfolios and develop new business opportunities • Collaborate with R&D, business development, purchasing, and operations teams • Build and maintain customer relationships • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities • Conduct face-to-face customer meetings and document interactions in the CRM system • Translate customer needs into actionable business strategies • Serve as primary point of contact between clients, internal teams, and external partners • Participate in RFQ processes and provide product quotations and pricing strategies • Negotiate pricing and contracts while ensuring profitability • Resolve customer issues and complaints with Customer Service, Logistics, and Quality teams • Submit and maintain annual sales budgets per account/territory • Manage opportunity pipelines and sales forecasts in the CRM system • Provide monthly sales reports tracking sales and gross profit against budget targets • Develop and execute annual territory plans and contribute to Key Account Plans • Identify market expansion opportunities through industry participation • Attend trade shows, industry conferences, and local pharmaceutical organizations • Participate in site projects and other tasks related to skills and abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related scientific disciplines • Minimum 5 to 10 years’ experience in sales / business development of APIs, excipients, and intermediates to pharmaceutical manufacturers • Comfortable in technical/scientific aspects of pharmaceutical and API development • Knowledge of pharmaceutical Quality & Regulatory requirements • Proven results of delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including its challenges, regulations, and market dynamics • Strong negotiation skills, with ability follow-through on client contracts • In-depth understanding of value chain and key players within related market space • Goal-oriented, organized team player • Self-motivated and self-directed, eager to expand the company with new sales • Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into solutions • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills • Highly detail-oriented and organized, able to work independently and as a team player • Proficient use of standard office meeting/communication software including Teams and SharePoint • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently; project management skills • Valid passport required • Extensive travel within assigned territory, with occasional global travel; approximately 50% travel
