Description

• Collaborate with our Product, Analytics, and Operations teams to set and execute our risk mitigation strategy • Recruit and hire senior engineers • Coach, develop, retain, and provide feedback to team members • Organize the Fraud Engineering team as necessary to fulfill its mandate • Establish OKRs and critical metrics to set the engineering team’s direction and measure its success • Create a long term technical roadmap that enables the team to keep up with our fast growing business • Build a strong engineering culture around innovation, accountability, empathy, and execution

Requirements

• Passionate: Passionate about Affirm's Mission: "Deliver Honest Financial Products that improve lives" • Technical: Solid engineering fundamentals and real world experience building scalable engineering solutions • Collaborative: Enjoys cross team collaboration especially with product managers and business partners • Humble: You lead with the humility and self-awareness needed to navigate challenging situations • User Focused: Cares about the details in the user experience • Experience: 3+ years managing high performing engineering teams
