Description

• Engage and educate land trust community to increase awareness of grasslands carbon offsets and develop strategic partnerships to enroll landowners • Direct outreach to private landowners to provide an overview of the offering, including development and preparation of landowner information packets and proposals • Attend relevant land trust/land conservation conferences, workshops, and industry events to generate business opportunities and educate attendees • Coordinate responses to landowner (or landowner legal counsel) inquiries regarding project enrollment, in coordination with the land trust partner and with technical assistance from Project Manager • Lead negotiations with land trust and landowners with input from AgriCapture leadership • Provide regular reporting on pipeline to enable accurate and timely carbon credit sales

Requirements

• Strong land trust network in target states (TX, OK, NE, KS, ND, SD, CO, and MT) • Bachelor or graduate degree in agriculture, natural resource conservation, or related field • Minimum of five years’ professional work experience • Understanding of, or experience with, Voluntary Carbon Markets is a plus • Understanding of ecological concepts in land conservation, and a basic proficiency with ARC GIS, Google Earth and/or other mapping software
