Founded in 2022, the company emphasizes sovereignty in European human spaceflight and reusable heavy-launch capabilities, and hires roles such as turbomachinery systems engineers and hybrid propulsion engineers across Toulouse and Naples. The team is early-stage (reported 14 team members, €3. 5M financed) and focuses on hands-on design, testing, and building of novel rocket engine hardware and systems.

📋 Description

• Drive European public affairs and strategic partnerships for Alpha Impulsion from Paris, shaping our space agenda with institutions and key accounts • Develop network and build awareness of solutions with French institutions (CNES, DGA, etc.), EU institutions, and ESA • Represent Alpha Impulsion in strategic discussions with those institutions, defending interests in national and European programs • Participate in professional groups such as GIFAS and ANF, by attending preparatory meetings, workgroups, etc. • Contribute to written strategic notes and position papers, organize delegation visits • Represent Alpha Impulsion at professional events in Paris, or anywhere else in Europe • Support business development in the management of key accounts • Contribute to bid management activities: writing, consortium building, etc.

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree in political science, public affairs, international relations, law or equivalent (e.g. business school) • 2 to 5 years of experience in public affairs or within a public institutions • An experience in a deeptech environment, ideally in Aeronautics Space and Defence • Deep understanding of the relationships between French institutions (various ministries, CNES, DGA, DGE), ESA, and the EU • Professional French and English required • Comfortable speaking in public and discussing with high-profile leaders, CEOs, etc. • Interested in a startup environment: autonomy, accountability, pride of ownership.
