Description

• Lead the team accountable for distribution, package building, package repository, and presentation of the Anaconda Distribution to customers • Responsible for our Anaconda Embedded product offering and partnerships • Build and lead a high-performing team of product managers to grow our distribution business • Define and execute the strategy for Anaconda Python and R packages and repositories • Engage with our community of open source conda contributors to solidify conda as the premier tool for environment and package management in AI • Manage strategic partnerships with hardware and platform partners to build and maintain customized conda packages • Represent our package ecosystem as a business to the company • Set the organization's KPIs and OKRs.

Requirements

• Leadership / people management experience • 8+ Years of product management experience • Technical background or undergraduate degree • Understanding of how the open source software ecosystem works • Team attitude: “I am not done until WE are done” • Embody our core values: Great People Great Product Great Performance • Care deeply about fostering an environment where people of all backgrounds and experiences can flourish • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment • Experience working in an open-source or data science-oriented company • Understanding of python packaging and the packaging ecosystem • Agile experience - Scrum / Kanban
