Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geography, or related field • 4+ years of understanding GIS concepts and principles • Proficiency in GIS software such as Esri ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms • Experience with programming languages like Python, JavaScript, or Java • Strong background in geospatial technology • Expertise in metadata standards, ISO standards, and Survey123 • Familiarity with geospatial data formats and spatial databases • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Effective communication and collaboration skills • Experience with web mapping libraries/frameworks • Knowledge of geospatial analysis techniques and tools • Experience with version control systems • Familiarity with cloud platforms and GIS cloud services • Previous experience or coursework in software development or GIS development projects • U.S. Citizen willing to undergo government background investigation process
