📋 Description

• Administer relational and non-relational databases, including SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB • Support critical and high-availability environments • Monitor database environments, identifying risks related to availability, capacity, and performance • Perform query analysis and tuning • Identify and resolve database-related incidents • Manage Change processes in production environments, overseeing approvals and implementation • Liaise with vendors to open, track, and escalate support tickets • Work closely with technical teams and other stakeholders involved in environment support • Contribute to the continuous improvement of database monitoring, performance, and availability processes

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience with relational and non-relational databases, such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB • Experience administering critical and high-availability databases • Experience in query analysis and tuning • Experience with SQL Server AlwaysOn • Experience with monitoring tools, especially Zabbix and Grafana • Experience with Agile methodologies • Experience with ITSM tools • Experience opening and managing Changes in production environments, including tracking required approvals • Experience opening vendor support tickets, following up, and escalating when necessary • Experience monitoring databases and identifying relevant metrics and items for tracking availability and performance • Knowledge of Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL is desirable • Certifications in Oracle, MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server are desirable • Experience with AWS Cloud environments is desirable • Knowledge of Oracle Data Guard and SQL Server AlwaysOn is desirable • Knowledge of backup and restore processes using RMAN is desirable • Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) is desirable • Senior-level experience
