📋 Description

• Resolve customer issues and ensure compliance with our service agreements at individual customer sites/territories in Germany or elsewhere in Europe. • Perform maintenance on equipment and systems, including software and hardware installation, upgrades, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance. • Analyze problems, investigate and report root causes/corrective actions, and monitor system performance. • Provide operational support for customer-managed samples (e.g., assistance with sample storage and conversion from manual to automated systems). • Communicate and collaborate with global teams on task execution. • Prepare and submit reports, such as service and status reports. • Occasionally respond to emergencies, such as equipment/production line failures or escalations. • Maintain loaner equipment. • Support organizational and administrative tasks, e.g., preparing cost estimates or arranging shipment of loaner and customer equipment.

🎯 Requirements

• Completed vocational training (or Bachelor's degree) in an engineering discipline or a related field. • Practical experience in maintenance or design of electrical systems and machinery/automation equipment. • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical safety. • Fluent written and spoken German and English. (Company language is English!) • Experience in determining causes of equipment failures/troubleshooting using structured and comprehensive procedures. • Valid driver's license (car). • Good PC skills and familiarity with Windows/DOS-based operating systems. • Willingness to travel frequently domestically and internationally, including short-notice travel and occasional weekend or holiday work. • Flexibility to take on on-call duties for (remote) troubleshooting.
