📋 Description

• Lead hands-on implementation of complex, high-risk and multi-domain customer projects • Deploy Azure Virtual Desktop, complex network architectures, multi-tenant security configurations, hybrid identity environments and large-scale migrations • Produce High-Level Designs and Low-Level Designs across Modern Workplace, Cyber Security, Network and Backup/DR domains • Author Statements of Work defining scope, deliverables, assumptions, exclusions, acceptance criteria and milestones • Provide technical guidance and design assurance throughout delivery • Review implementation progress and validate engineering configuration decisions • Support pre-sales scoping, solution qualification, feasibility assessments and proposal design • Conduct customer technical design reviews and secure architecture sign-off • Define technical standards, deployment checklists, configuration baselines and design templates • Validate UAT results and technical acceptance • Mentor Level 1 and Level 2 engineers • Collaborate with Service Desk, NOC and managed services teams on operational supportability • Maintain vendor relationships and evaluate new product capabilities • Communicate risks, constraints and dependencies to project managers, delivery leadership and customers • Lead post-implementation design reviews and capture lessons learned • Maintain expert technical skills and advanced vendor certifications

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience designing and delivering solutions across Modern Workplace, Cyber Security, Backup/DR, Networking and Azure • Demonstrable authorship of High-Level Designs, Low-Level Designs and Statements of Work • Pre-sales technical experience • Track record of mentoring and raising the technical capability of a delivery team • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), or current successor certification • Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert (SC-100), or current successor certification • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102), or current successor certification • Sophos Certified Architect for Sophos Firewall and Sophos Central Endpoint/Server, with corresponding Sophos Certified Engineer certifications as prerequisites • Acronis Certified Engineer (Cyber Protect) • Mimecast Certified Product Professional, Advanced level • Home-based work setup with desk and chair in a quiet space • Stable internet connection and a solution to mitigate load shedding • Advantageous: PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent, ITIL Foundation, CISSP or equivalent, CompTIA Security+, CrowdStrike Falcon certifications and familiarity with Falcon Complete
