Description

• Report to the General Ledger Manager • Key participant in the accounting process • Complete assigned tasks/projects • Prepare reports for management • Perform various accounting tasks such as bank reconciliation, mortgage payments, property tax monitoring, etc. • Assist in the monthly closing of accounting books • Respond to tenant inquiries related to CAM reconciliation • Open new bank accounts and perform tasks after property acquisition/disposition • Prepare W9s • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external parties • Work independently in a fast-paced environment • Strong work ethic and team player • Yardi experience preferred • Other projects and tasks as assigned by accounting management

Requirements

• Accounting degree and CPA license required • Cum laude or better graduate from university • 2-4 years of accounting experience • Real estate accounting experience a plus • Solid organizational skills • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to prioritize and multi-task • Ability to work with minimum supervision • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
