Description

• Lead a team of 3-5 Blavity Business Development Managers to achieve annual and quarterly sales revenue goals across digital and experiential sales products • Facilitate key introductions, and appropriately distribute inbound leads to Sales team • Personally manage your own book of business for strategic accounts from new relationships with key brands and agencies • Prepare monthly sales reports, forecast and manage pipeline using Salesforce tools, and communicate clear reporting to senior management and executives • Act as a leader across entire sales cycle, including demand generation, qualification, opportunity management, and contract closure • Meet or exceed team revenue goals on a quarterly basis across web, mobile, video, content, social media, and live events

Requirements

• Education: B.A • Required Experience: 6+ years of experience in media business development, 3+ years of experience managing and coaching mid-level employees • Preferred Experience: Demonstrated ability to grow revenue while putting audience, storytelling, and community first • Technologies: Fluent in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Salesforce, Asana, and/or comparable project management suite • Additional Qualifications: Excellent communication skills, strong analytical mind, ability to take complex information and effectively communicate, demonstrated experience tracking core business metrics and driving decisions based on data, a healthy appreciation of GIFs and Black culture
