📋 Description

• Independently prepare monthly and annual financial statements under HGB (German Commercial Code), including fixed assets, account reconciliations and audit‑ready documentation • Prepare and review VAT pre‑declarations and ensure timely filings across Europe • Actively contribute to group consolidation across eight entities • Perform intercompany reconciliations and work closely with Financial Controlling • Execute regular payment runs • Support audits • Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes • Report directly to the Function Lead, Accounting

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of solid experience preparing financial statements under HGB, ideally within a group structure with multiple entities • Strong knowledge of German tax law, in particular VAT in an international context • Fluent German and good English skills • Proficient in Excel and accounting software in a group environment • Meticulous, audit‑ready documentation and accurate account reconciliations • Ability to perform under pressure during closing periods and tax deadlines • Ability to explain financial figures clearly to non‑finance stakeholders • Close collaboration with Controlling, tax advisors and auditors
