Description

• As a member of the Distribution Team you will contribute towards developing and enhancing products connected to Cloudbeds’ ecosystem • Design and implement features and improvements utilizing PHP, Vue and React • Lead discussions on complex technical concepts and requirements with both technical and non-technical stakeholders as a contributor to the backend and frontend architecture groups • Write clean, well-tested, well-documented, and elegant code • Write documentation for new and existing areas of our application • Contributing towards the ongoing initiative to migrate our core platform into microservices • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, build and ship high quality features • Mentor team members through practices like pair programming and code reviews • Re-architect and re-factor existing systems to align with project requirements • Help design the long term vision of our technology and new component architectures • Promote best practices to improve the quality of our code and processes • Drive technical decisions within the team • Advocate for quality and test automation

Requirements

• 5+ years of PHP web application software engineering experience • 5+ years of experience with JS frameworks, Vue.js and React are preferred • Strong knowledge of modern Javascript and Typescript design patterns, best practices and technologies • Knowledge of Git, including workflows/actions • Expert knowledge of relational databases, indexing, and searching technologies • Knowledge of test automation (unit, integration, end-to-end) • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Excellent problem solving and debugging skills • Strong knowledge and a passion for software best practices, design patterns and testing • Strong teamwork, leadership, and time management skills • Passionate about agile practices and continuous improvement • Business level English fluency required (verbal and written skills)
