• Drive greenfield projects with Cloudflare Research • Investigate, develop, and deploy projects into Cloudflare systems • Collaborate with university and industry labs • Prioritize and plan research projects • Strong communication and technical influence skills • Comfortable working in tight deadline projects with short release cycles

Requirements

• Demonstrated track record in design and follow-through on large-scale systems projects • Proven record of peer-reviewed research in relevant venues • Solid foundation in computer science, specializing in distributed systems • Proficiency in languages like Go, Rust, Typescript, C, or Lua • Planning and execution skills across teams • Experience with tools like Kafka, Postgres, Kubernetes, Prometheus
