Description

• Support and oversee legal commercial, regulatory and corporate matters for Southeast Asia and East Asia • Advise cross-functional stakeholders and provide pragmatic solutions • Review, draft, and negotiate various commercial agreements • Respond to enquiries from various functions • Instruct, coordinate, and manage external counsel networks • Oversee cross-functional projects within the region • Work with a global team of lawyers

Requirements

• Qualified to practice law in covered Southeast Asia jurisdictions • Five (5) years post-qualification experience at a reputable leading law firm • Experienced in reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial transactions or agreements • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and risk assessment capabilities • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills • Experience in fintech, payments and payments licensing, and/or e-commerce regulation is advantageous • Highly organised and independent • Ability to handle pressure and work to challenging deadlines
