Description

• Review system architecture and software components • Ensure best practices are consistent across all teams • Own and ensure SLOs and SLAs are met • Develop tools for operational excellence • Manage security controls and compliance standards • Lead incident management and post-mortems • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies • Provide feedback on junior staff performance • Perform day-to-day operational tasks

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years managing software deployments in production environments • Strong knowledge of software delivery and devops principles • Experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure-as-code tools • Bachelor’s degree in Comp Sci., InfoSec or similar fields • Ability to take substantial features from concept to shipping • Problem-solving skills with sound judgment • Quick thinking in high-pressure situations • Strong communicator and team player • Nice to have: experience in early-to-growth stage startup, building applications in different tech stacks, interest in decentralized technologies and cryptocurrencies
