📋 Description

• Develop and maintain comprehensive threat research regionally. • Identify, investigate, analyze, and manage threats to executive staff, employees, and the broader partner community as directed by the client. • Produce actionable and concise threat analysis products in a timely manner to inform cross-functional groups, executive staff protection, and enterprise-wide security operations. • Conduct open-source intelligence investigations using public and government databases, social media, and deep/dark-web sources to identify and assess known or emerging threats. • Manage safety and security team relationships with local law enforcement partners and other investigative, research, intelligence groups, and vendors. • Partner with customer service and operational teams to support threat intake, response coordination, and case resolution. • Maintain global situational awareness of potential and developing threats and prepare impact analyses. • Work on complex security incidents with multiple stakeholders, including those without threat and intelligence experience. • Lead Threat Management Team meetings to coordinate responses to immediate high-level threat issues. • Assist in program development through workflow creation, threat methodology research, and planning products. • Communicate with senior executives and entry-level employees. • Translate complex security issues for specific audiences. • Conform to all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.

🎯 Requirements

• Must be able to legally work in the country where this position is located without visa sponsorship. • 7-10+ years of experience in threat analysis, ideally behavioral threat assessment, and threat management and Law Enforcement. • Experience supporting a comprehensive threat management program and direct experience conducting investigations, intelligence collection and analysis, and case management. • Extensive experience with utilizing open-source research, criminal background information, and other online investigative techniques. • Current member (or ability to become a member) of professional threat assessment organizations (i.e., Association of Threat Assessment Professionals). • Ability to work some non-traditional hours (e.g., nights, weekends, or holidays) and respond to emergent or time-sensitive situations. • Excellent written and oral communication skills, demonstrated during the interview process. • Must be a highly adaptable, flexible professional who brings a strong, positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving. • Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively and cross-functionally. • Professionally proficient in Google Workspace applications and macOS, and experienced in leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity. • Ability to travel 10% of the time. • This is a full-time position located in the APAC region (Singapore or Australia). A typical week’s schedule consists of four 10-hour days, often requiring one shift on a weekend day as job duties demand. • Current Member of APATAP is preferred. • Willingness to pursue CTM certification exam per the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP) standards is preferred. • A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred (years of experience may be substituted). • International experience and/or regional expertise (APAC) is preferred. • Language proficiency and cross-cultural fluency are preferred. • Experience with data analysis, reporting, and trend tracking is preferred. • Experience drafting planning products and policy documentation is preferred. • Training and exercise design or facilitation experience is preferred.
